1.0    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This will give a brief description of the key features of the business as it has been organized and arranged for the new restaurant business planned to start.

1.1  Business description

The business will be named PAULINAH’S RESORT located at Eldoret. The business will be operating as a small restaurant serving traditional style home made foods and classic foods. The restaurant emphasis will be on creating a comfortable yet elegant environment for customers to share a meal. We will be offering an extensive menu that can be eaten in or as a take away food.

1.2    Marketing plan

As a new business in an industry paulinah’s resort will be opened frequently. It will be of more importance to market paulinah’s resort properly to gain a market share. It will be our goal that people will associated their meals with us. This is familiarly saying that we will take on a new meaning to our customers as they realize that their days are better with cornerstone restaurant.

1.3    Organizational and management plan

The paulinah’s resort business will consist of eleven employees headed by general manager who will be the head and organizer of the business in the restaurant while running with the help of the restaurant manager, account officer who will make sure that the business finance is well documented and staffs are well paid, customer care, salesman who will assure the customers that the products of the restaurant are good and affordable to all kinds and types of customers and the security will be well taken care of by the security officer.

1.4    Production and operational plan

The paulinah’s resort will come up with new ways of improving the business. This will be by offering quality and quantitative services at an average costs compared to other competitors. This

is by ensuring more customers with comfortable pricing and affordable menu of the products in the restaurant, thus attracting more customers and potentially know their potential towards the restaurant business.

1.5  Financial plan

The business will ensure that all its financial projections will be made at any particular time. The requiring finance for the startup of business will be kshs 800, 000, loans acquired from the bank will be kshs 200,000 and kshs 400,000 will be donated by my family members and friends. This money will be meant to be used in starting of the business as the pre-operational cost.
